Terminology
Snap-Lock
A snap-lock mount is pushed through the hole in the chassis or panel. The mount of the spacer opens at the opposite side and provides a secure and mechanical lock. In order to remove the spacer, simply squeeze the locking device.
Snap-Fit
A snap-fit mount is pushed through the hole in the chassis or panel. The mount of the spacer deflects at the opposite site and provides a mechanical pressure hold. The spacer can simply be removed by pushing or pulling so no squeezing is required.
